Foster Youth Success Services

Foster Youth Services at Hartnell College provides wraparound students who were impacted by child welfare system. This includes people who were adopted, in guardianship, emancipated, or aged out of the system. We have several ways to get involved, including through our Independent Living Program, our Guardian Scholars Program or our NextUp program. We are committed to helping current and former foster youth and we relentlessly serve our students as they build momentum towards and  complete their educational goals.
Our work focuses on the needs of the Salinas Valley and Hartnell College. We are dedicated in providing educational opportunities for students to reach academic, career, and personal goals in an environment committed to student learning, achievement, and success.
